Tammy Shane’s subject matter ranges from yellow canaries, to Venetian lampposts, with a whimsical yet elegant style, that carries throughout each piece. She infuses her work with layers of colour, script and texture. Antique lace, vintage wallpaper, and handwritten notes all become significant trademarks throughout her creative process. In her short amount of time as a professional artist, Tammy’s charming pieces have found themselves in Toronto and Ottawa based galleries as well as a growing list of juried festivals and private collections. Tammy has always been passionate about painting and is quickly gaining recognition for her work within her hometown of Kingston and Eastern Ontario.
